Hummingbirds are endangered because of lost habitat because people are cutting down trees because they are using it for paper and wood houses to live and the hummingbirds have no where to live and all so their predators because they eat them. Weather can be included because when baby hummingbirds are in the nest they can blow away and also when they are flying because they have little wings.
Appearance
Hummingbirds have a type a scan feather that has colour because they need that to attract the females so they can mate. When baby hummingbirds are born they don't have any feathers on them. It's very important to have a long beak for the hummingbirds because they can't drink if they don't have a beak. Hummingbirds have a layer of feathers.

Hummingbirds eat insects and nectar. They eat flies, ants, small beetles, true bugs, leafhoppers, gnats, weevils, mites, aphids, wasps, mosquitos and even spiders but sometimes the spiders can eat them. Hummingbirds are omnivores that means they are meat and plant eaters because insects are protein.

Then after a few days the baby hummingbirds will start to have tiny feathers on them. Then the mother hummingbird has to feed the baby hummingbirds and start to teacher them how to fly. After a few days of practicing the baby hummingbirds hummingbirds will start to take of and then starts to eat bugs and drink nectar. When they start to mate ,the male will start to do a dance to attracted the female. The female will lay the egg and keep it warm and calm so she can get an heathy looking chick.
